Andrew Doran

Andrew Doran is a Senior Advisor at IDC, a Senior Fellow with the Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD), and Research Director at Remembering Upstate New York. From 2018 to 2021, he served on the U.S. Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Staff. Earlier in his career, he served on the Executive Secretariat of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO at the U.S. Department of State from 2008 to 2009. A co-founder of IDC, he previously served as both vice president and president of the organization. He has published numerous articles and essays and is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
