Washington, DC– In Defense of Christians (IDC), the nation’s leading advocacy organization for Christians and religious minorities in the Middle East, announces several distinguished individuals scheduled  speak at its 2020 Digital Summit on September 23, 2020 at 7:00-8:30 pm (ET).

Confirmed speakers include:

  • His Eminence Archbishop Angaelos, Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London
  • His Eminence  Archbishop Elpidophoros, Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America
  • His Eminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church
  • His Eminence Bishop Gregory Mansour, Eparch of the Maronite Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn
  • Representative Frank Wolf, Former U.S. Representative from Virginia
  • Representative Gus Bilirakis (FL-12)
  • Gayle Manchin, Chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom
  • Rev. Johnnie Moore, Commissioner of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom

The speakers will highlight the important work that lies ahead in advocacy for persecuted Christians all over the world as well as discuss the achievements of the 2019-2020 year.

Additionally, the summit will include an official announcement and presentation of IDC’s 2020 Congressional Champion Award to the following Senators and Representatives:
