For more than a decade, In Defense of Christians has brought advocates from across the country to Washington to give a voice to the historic Christian communities of the Middle East. Through IDC’s National Summits and Capitol Hill Advocacy Days, our supporters have met directly with Members of Congress and their staffs to advance bipartisan policies that protect persecuted Christians, defend religious freedom, and preserve Christianity in the lands where the faith was born.
These gatherings have united Members of Congress, faith leaders, policy experts, and advocates around a common purpose: ensuring that the challenges facing Christians in the Middle East are heard in Washington and translated into meaningful action. From congressional meetings and policy briefings to our annual Solidarity Dinner, IDC has built lasting relationships with policymakers and equipped advocates to speak effectively on behalf of vulnerable Christian communities.
