IDC Activities

On October 11, IDC Senior Advisor Kirsten Evans presented “The Historical Context of the Rise of Christian Persecution in the Middle East in the 20th Century” to the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem. On October 12, IDC Senior Advisor Andrew Doran joined a coalition of organization to meet with the Clinton and Trump campaigns urging them to address mounting religious persecution.

IDC congratulates President-Elect Trump, calls on his administration to protect religious minorities in the Middle East. On October 30 IDC Senior Advisor Kirsten Evans presented at the Lewinsville Presbyterian Church in McLean Virginia a lecture on “The Current Crisis for Christianity in the Middle East.” On November 10, IDC Senior Advisor Kirsten Evans  addressed the students and faculty of the Catholic University of America in an open event titled “Genocide: What’s Next?” On November 17, IDC Advisory Board Member Dr. Thomas Farr of Georgetown University’s Religious Freedom Project hosted Senator Ben Sasse at Georgetown University for a religious freedom symposium. On November 19, IDC Senior Advisor Kirsten Evans and Iraq Advisor Loay Mikhael represented IDC at Washington DC’s 3rd Night of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

IDC Chapter Events

IDC Denver chapter will  be hosting a screening of Our Last Stand, Directed and Produced by IDC Senior Adviser Jordan Allott, on December 6th at 6pm  at the Colorado Christian University. IDC Los Angeles chapter will be hosting a screening of Our Last Stand, on December 7th at 8pm at the Ahrya Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers.
